Day 21/365

This photographer’s vest belonged to my dad. He’d use it on his wildlife photography trips. It went into storage when we moved to New Zealand – his interest had always been in wildlife far more than in photography itself, and there were no big game in New Zealand, so the cameras went into storage too.

He did get me into photography though, and even gave me the first lenses I used, and is basically the reason I do what I do now.

Mum was digging around among his things and found this, and gave it to me. I’ll be wearing it for the first time when I go shooting today.
