Ersta, Christian and Marshall, aged 17, 16, and 15 years respectively, have put together a fantastic concept, executed it brilliantly, and to top it off, produced this excellent video to show us how they did it.

This is an entry into the National Geographic Photo Contest 2011. I think it’s one of the best photographs I’ve seen all year – wonderfully lit and executed, and capturing such a remarkable subject at the perfect moment, communicating so very much, so very simply.
